Compliance Scores: Exceptions

Neither ShieldHub nor the CRA will grant exceptions to score findings. 


Please be aware that an increase in score is only possible if the CRA determines a criminal charge was incorrectly considered according to the compliance matrix OR you have completed the Disputes process to remove inaccurately reported charges. For additional information about the dispute process click here.


Exceptions:

If you have reviewed your background check report and agree that the charges on the report are accurate only the engaging client or work provider may consider your request and explanation to accept your IC score.


Contact support@shieldhub.com to request the ShieldScore Exception & Individual Assessment form. ShieldHub provides a standardized form that Independent Contractors may use to request an Individualized Assessment and exception to a Work Provider’s ShieldScore acceptance policy.


Please be advised that a request will need to be submitted to each work provider you seek engagement with. Neither ShieldHub nor the CRA sets the acceptance criteria or IC score as set by Client or Work Provider's policies.
