A ShieldID is an Assigned Background Check Number (ABC#) that can use used within the ShieldHub portal to search, verify, and monitor a users background check ShieldScoreTM.
If you were provided a ShieldID (ABC#), ShieldHub allows you to search and verify a provided ShieldScoreTM. From the ShieldHub dashboard, you can search a ShieldIDTM from the search box at the top of the page.
Simply enter a valid ShieldID and hit the Return Key or click the magnifying glass. The results will open in a window.
ShieldID Not Found
You may receive the following error if the ShieldID you searched does not exist, is incorrect, or not shared by the candidate.
ShieldID Not Shared
You may receive the following message if the ShieldID you searched is not shared by the candidate. To enable network search and sharing, the user must follow these instructions to enable ShieldID and ShieldScore sharing: Make Your ShieldID Searchable.
Add to My Network
Click the Add to My Network button to send an invite to the user to join your trusted network. Once clicked, the system will indicate that an invite was sent to that user.
